The Team

All physiotherapists at the clinic are registered with the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and continually develop their clinical skills to enhance and improve their delivery of treatment.

Peter Butcher
MCSP, MMACP, Grad, Dip, Phys

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist is a member of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Graduated from the North London School of Physiotherapy in 1979, having worked in the health service for 14 years, firstly at Edgware General Hospital in North London, before moving to St. Charles Hospital, West London and then to Bexhill Hospital in East Sussex. He developed experience in musculo-skeletal joint problems and became a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in 1985. Having also qualified through the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in Acupuncture, additional provision for pain relief can also be delivered.

 

Special interests: Muscular and soft tissue trauma. Treatment of spinal pains and sacro-iliac joint dysfunctions. Post-traumatic whiplash injuries and upper limb disorders with an emphasis on management of headaches . Hip joint and knee pain including also foot bio-mechanics.

Rebecca Lunn
Chartered Physiotherapist 
MACP, Bsc (hons)

 

Rebecca graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2006, and is very pleased to be working here as a Physiotherapist. She is a member of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Having studied Pilates and Exercise since 1996, she achieved an Advanced Instructor Certificate in Modern Pilates in 2002, and currently also teaches Pilates, Special Back Classes and

individual 1-1 sessions at the Body Junction.

 

Special interests: Musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a special interest in remedial exercise and Pilates.

Tracey Butcher
Chartered Physiotherapist 
MACP, Grad, Dip, Phys

 

 

Tracey Butcher qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from The West  Middlesex University Hospital School of  Physiotherapy in 1987. Tracey has spent over 18 years within the NHS gaining varied experiences from rotational junior and senior posts across areas as diverse as Intensive care, Paediatrics,

Orthopaedics , Elderly care, General Medical Care and Women’s Health.

 

From the point of qualification her main interest lay within musculoskeletal conditions with particular interest in pain

management. She has undertaken extensive course

participation and literature searches within the area, helping to gain her promotion to senior out-patient physiotherapist based formerly at Eastbourne DGH and latterly at Bexhill Hospital.

 

Special interests: Tracey looks forward to private practice with

The Body Junction team. assessment and treatment of headaches/migraines, chronic pain conditions and whiplash injuries.

Rose Vincent
Receptionist

 

Rose trained at a secretarial/Accounts College in London and worked for various Chartered Accountants in the area, before moving down to Bexhill 11 years ago, where she was lucky enough to be introduced to Peter Butcher who was looking for a Secretary. Rose is delighted to have qualified to become a Yoga Teacher and takes the Friday 6.30pm class at the Body Junction.

 

Special interests: Rose loves keeping fit i.e. Yoga/Pilates (of course !) and jogging, also walks her beagle ‘Lily’  along the seafront at any given opportunity. 

Debbie Ralley
Receptionist

 

Debbie originally trained in London in Travel & Tourism and worked for several London based Tour Operators. This was followed by 8 years working in the London Newspaper Industry. Debbie then moved back to Bexhill and worked  for 4 years in an electrical company as office Manager. For many years she has done Pilates with Charlotte and she jumped at the chance to work for The Body Junction.

 

Special interests: Her Stress busters include gardening , reading  & walking Toby her mad weimaraner  

Lorna
Registered Guide Dog

 

Lorna was born on 1st March 2010.  She started her training in May 2011 having been puppy walked in Reading.  She qualified in December 2011 from Maidstone Guide Dog training centre. She has a lot to say for herself and tends to argue, but nevertheless is very affectionate and lively.  Lorna is very quick to learn and has picked up the routes to work and her daily duties with ease.  She does suffer from allergies so her food consists primarily of fish and potato.

 

Special interests: Further duties involve negotiating the shops of Bexhill and occasionally those of Eastbourne and Hastings
